salvageinteriors: First off… Let me apologize for this iPhone photo, I know it’s lame. I snapped this shot just after I put on the last coat of finish and didn’t manage to take any real photos. This piece is a stand-up desk I built recently for a friends 30th birthday/15th year of DJing. His girlfriend commissioned the piece to replace what he was using to house his turntables, mixer, some vinyl, etc. This thing is a beast, all steel base wrapped in steel sheet with an almost 2” thick old growth Pine top. The delivery guys were not happy.
